Building on a foundation of gradual warm up and stretching, our adult students will increase their flexibility while reducing the risk of injury. Stretching and strength exercises will also in turn increase your overall balance and power.
Tae Kwon Do drills and the Taegeuk and WTF forms are then taught, performed and practiced to develop speed and defined coordination and proper application of self defense techniques reviewed in classes. A period of class time is then dedicated on kicking techniques and drills found in both Hap Ki Do and Tae Kwon Do martial styles.
Lastly the very effective methods of Hap Ki Do Hoshinsool (self defense techniques and applications like joint locks and throws are used over various different possible situations and scenarios) are taught at the end of a class period.
At the same time, execution of proper Tae Kwon Do and Hap Ki Do techniques will help all students develop:
